Ocean Sleeper are heading back on the road in 2027, announcing a massive regional Australian tour with RedHook and Mirrors along for the ride.

Following a breakout year that saw the Gippsland metal core outfit take their music to Europe and release their second album, Peace When I’m Dead, the band are turning their attention to audiences outside Australia’s major cities.

The 14-date tour will kick off at Kings Beach Tavern on the Sunshine Coast on March 11th, before making its way through Queensland, New South Wales, the ACT and Victoria, with a stop in Tasmania before wrapping up in Mackay on April 3rd.

Joining Ocean Sleeper for the entire run will be fellow heavy music favourites RedHook and Mirrors, with a rotating lineup of local supports, including Offset Vision in Victoria and Tasmania, Nightlight in NSW and NTH RD in Queensland.

The announcement continues an impressive period for Ocean Sleeper, who released Peace When I’m Dead in August through BMG and Rise Records, following their signing with the labels earlier in the year.

The album, which was recorded across Melbourne, Los Angeles and Portland, saw the band explore themes of internal conflict, perseverance and the challenges of pushing forward in the face of adversity.

“This band has never been afraid to dive into the darker parts of our lives, and this album is no exception,” frontman Karl Spiessl said at the time.

“For us, like many others, opportunities haven’t come easily to this band but we have worked tirelessly to achieve our wins and will continue to push forward until peace comes to us all.”

Having already taken the album on a national metropolitan tour last month and ventured overseas, Ocean Sleeper’s latest announcement gives regional fans their chance to experience the band’s new material live.

Tickets for the 2027 regional tour go on sale Thursday, October 22nd, via the band’s official website.
