Just when you thought Powderfinger couldn’t squeeze another date into their massive 2027 comeback tour, the Australian rock favourites have announced another show, giving Canberra fans a second chance to catch their long-awaited return to the stage.

The Aussie rock legends will now perform at Stage 88 on Sunday, December 5th, following their previously announced show on Saturday, December 4th.

Support acts for the new date are yet to be revealed, with presale tickets available now ahead of the general public on-sale at 11am AEDT on Thursday, November 5th.

The announcement comes just days after Powderfinger expanded their highly anticipated ‘The Encore Run’ tour to include Hobart and Canberra, alongside additional shows in Melbourne, Perth and Brisbane.

The new dates also brought an impressive all-Australian support lineup, featuring Violent Soho, Ocean Alley, Something For Kate, The Living End, DMA’S, Thelma Plum, Ball Park Music and more.
