Well, it seems like it’s all been downhill since DaBaby went on that homophobic rant at Rolling Loud Miami last weekend.

And as that rant has continued to snowball in a less than positive way, DaBaby’s’s Lollapalooza has now reportedly been cancelled.

The slot cancellation came in only hours before DaBaby was due to perform at the festival, as reported by Billboard.

Following the cancelled performance, Lollapalooza announced that DaBaby’s slot would be replaced by Young Thug seeing him take a more headline-esque set time, going from afternoon to evening.

The festival reportedly issued a statement on Sunday morning, saying, “Lollapalooza was founded on diversity, inclusivity, respect, and love.”

“With that in mind, DaBaby will no longer be performing at Grant Park tonight.”

Prior to that statement, the festival’s founder, Perry Farrell issued a statement on the festival’s lineup, “I think there’s no place at Lollapalooza or anywhere else in this world for hatred and for bullying and for ridiculing people.”

Farrell continued, “I want to talk for a moment about the gay community, because they’re out in force here in Chicago and they’re fierce and we love them and we support them and we defend them. That’s what I’d like to say.”

It was also recently announced that DaBaby would no longer be playing Parklife Festival, as his name was seen to have been removed from the most recently updated festival posters.

However, a rep for the rapper issued a statement which ensured that DaBaby was not barred from the festival, however decided not to play it due to the pandemic.

A rep for DaBaby is yet to comment on his removal from Lollapalooza.
