Eddie Vedder has followed up his two surprise singles from November with a six-song EP, titled Matter of Time.

Sometime in November, Eddie Vedder dropped two surprise singles titled ‘Matter Of Time’ and ‘Say Hi’. Now, the Pearl Jam frontman has followed them up with a surprise six song EP, also titled Matter Of Time.

The EP features the two singles Vedder released back in November, plus a collection of acoustic songs that Vedder recorded at home.

A standout among the songs is a cover of ‘Growin’ Up’, from Bruce Springsteen’s Greetings From Asbury Park, N.J. along with an acoustic rendition of ‘Future Days’, which Vedder recorded for the 2020 Game Awards.

There are also solo versions of ‘Porch’ and ‘Just Breathe’, completing the six-track EP.

‘Matter Of Time’ and ‘Say Hi’ were both introduced to the world back in November as part of a livestream event for EB Research Partnership, Eddie and Jill Vedder’s non-profit funding research to find a cure for Epidermolysis Bullosa, which is a fatal skin disorder affecting children.

Vedder also accompanied the singles with music videos. ‘Matter Of Time’ was visualized through an animation, whereas ‘Say Hi’ saw a live performance by the singer.

Of these, ‘Say Hi’ was a dedication to six-year-old Eli Meyer, who battle with Epidermolysis Bullosa inspired Vedder to establish the EB Research Partnership.
