Foo Fighters joined forces with Brian Johnson over the weekend to deliver a blistering cover of AC/DC’s ‘Back In Black’
The group performed at the SoFi Stadium in Los Angeles for Global Citizen’s Vax Live event, which will be streamed online on Saturday, May 8th.
Foo Fighters played a six-song set that included some of their classic hits like ‘Times Like These’, ‘Everlong’ and ‘My Hero’.
However, it was their performance of ‘Back In Black’ with Johnson taking to the stage to provide vocals that appeared to be the highlight of the night.
Although official footage of the moment has yet to emerge, one audience member has uploaded a bootleg clip on YouTube… so we suggest you check it out ASAP in case it gets taken down. You didn’t hear it from us!
VAX Live: The Concert to Reunite the World was put on with the aim “to help end COVID-19 for all, end the hunger crisis, resume learning everywhere, protect the planet, and advance equity for all”.
Other artists who were on the lineup include Eddie Vedder, Jennifer Lopez and J Balvin.

Meanwhile, Grohl recently spoke about the first time he met AC/DC after being introduced by Paul McCartney following the Grammy Awards.
“[Paul] bumps into AC/DC in a hotel or something. And then they say, ‘What are you doing after the show?’ And he says, ‘I’m gonna go have dinner with the Foo Fighters.’ And Paul said, ‘Do you wanna come?’”
“So Paul’s wife calls my wife, and then my wife says, ‘Hey, do you mind if AC/DC comes to dinner?’ And I had never met AC/DC,” he told Anders Bøtters Tiny TV.
“So then we had this beautiful night. And there was this jazz band. And it was one of the greatest nights of my entire life.”
