G Flip announces 'About Us' national album tour dates

Just days after announcing the release of her debut album, Melbourne’s G Flip has just dropped a bunch of Aussie headline dates.

No matter how you look at it, 2019 is going to be one of the biggest years on record for Georgia Flipo, better known to music lovers as G Flip.

After catching the attention of triple j Unearthed listeners thanks to her song ‘About You’ in 2018, G Flip made her live debut, before continuing to stun us at every turn with tracks like ‘Killing My Time’ and ‘Drink Too Much’.

Having been announced for the triple j One Night Stand in South Australia, and serving as one of the many talented artists on the Spilt Milk lineup, G Flip decided to go one better last week, revealing the release date for her debut album.

Titled About Us, the new record is set to be released on August 30th through Future Classic, and features ‘Stupid’ as the latest single, which you’ll be hearing on triple j all week.

However, the excitement can’t stop there, can it? Oh, not a chance, because G Flip has just dropped a run of Aussie headline dates in support of the new record’s release.

Kicking off in Adelaide this November, the stunning musician will also hit up Fremantle, Melbourne, Brisbane, and Sydney, complete with animated drum kit Je Ro Mo and full band.

“Australian shows are always the BEST and I’ll definitely be turning it up a notch this time,” G Flip explains of the tour.

“My beginner’s nerves are gone now and I’ll be debuting a new show full of HECTIC SHIT: new tracks, new arrangements and fun surprises here and there. I just wanna have fun with you all and give you a bloody good time.”
