During an interview at Austin City Limits over the weekend, James Blake let slip that new music is on the way.
Following on from the release of his acclaimed Assume Form record, Blake told Billboard that a new single coming in the form of ‘You’re Too Precious’.
Keeping details on whether the single is part of a new album or other specific project, Blake was keeping his cards pretty close to his chest, but he’s excited about what’s still to come.
“We’ll see what kind of takes material form,” he said. “With all this stuff, I am guilty of kind of making a promise to myself before I know I can keep it sometimes with songs, or with albums, or whatever. This time, I just wanna keep the innocence of being in a room and just making some music and not really caring where it goes.”

Assume Form, Blake’s fourth album was released back in January, and saw the British musician and producer collaborate with the likes of Travis Scott, Andre 3000, Moses Sumney and Metro Boomin.
