At the 2019 Met Gala, Jared Leto wholly embraced Gucci’s Fall-Winter 2018 show and donned a custom Gucci dress, accessorised with his own severed head.

Now, in a new interview with GQ, Leto has claimed that somebody has gone full Red Queen and stolen his head.

“I think someone may have stolen it,” he shared. “If anyone out there finds it, bring it into your nearest Gucci store in exchange for a pair of dirty sneakers.”

Honestly, whoever has stolen the beast, I don’t blame you — I once had a lifesized cut out of Edward from Twilight in my bedroom, we’re just trying to live our best lives. Unlike the cutout I begged my local cinema to give me, the Gucci severed head is worth a cool $11,000. So if I were you, mysterious thief, I’d try and inconspicuously flog the damn thing.

If you were wondering what Jared Leto is doing, apart from losing his $11,000 dome, he’s recently ventured into the business of cults. This year, Leto and his band Thirty Seconds To Mars hosted the inaugural Camp Mars Europe. The camp promised a The three-day festival with classic camp activities like hiking, yoga, and meditation and a live performance from the band.

However, once photos emerged from the camp, the general public came to the very correct conclusion that it wasn’t a camp at all, rather a cult. Clearly paying a nod to the Rajneesh movement, the photos depicted Leto clad in a Jesus-like white robe, surrounded by his loyal devotees who were also donning white. It was truly something.
