Trigger Warning: This article contains references to domestic violence, assault, and sexual assault that readers may find disturbing.

A posthumous XXXTentacion album Skins is set to drop this Friday. Earlier this week it was revealed that Kanye West is the albums sole credited feature.

The collaboration in question ‘One Minute’ has allegedly leaked, and contains some extremely problematic, victim-shaming lyrics.

A report published on The Fader has drawn attention the close of Kanye’s guest feature. In which he uses his final verse to question the merit of women who accuse famous men of assault, whilst sympathising for the men accused.

“She wanna give you the cookie, you Famous Amos /
She gave you the pussy but you ain’t pay for the anus /
Now your name is tainted, by the claims they paintin’ /
The defendant is guilty, no one blames the plaintiff”

Back in October, a tape emerged of XXXTentacion —real name Jahseh Onfroy— confessing to the domestic abuse of a former girlfriend. In the tape, Onfrey reveals “I started fucking her up bruh. I started fucking her up because she made one mistake. And from there, the whole cycle went down. Now she’s scared. That girl is scared for her life. Which I understand.”

This isn’t the first time Kanye has expressed a warped opinion on sexual assault. Back in September, he voiced his support for ASAP Bari after he was arrested for sexual assault.  He also expressed his regret for not backing XXXTentacion whilst he was alive.
