Kodak Black has pleaded guilty in a sexual assault case which was filed back in 2016.

The rapper had originally been charged for rape and has now pleaded guilt to first-degree assault at a County courthouse in Florence, as reported by Billboard.

According to the reports, Black allegedly assaulted the girl at a hotel room after a show he performed at in Florence. She claimed that he was biting on her neck and breast after telling him to stop. After the incident, the girl had reported it to the school nurse, it was then brought to the police and investigated.

Now the case has been legally settled, with the outcome being that Black won’t be sentenced to prison as long as he completes his 18 month probation sentence. He also faces a ten year suspended prison sentence. Black took to Twitter to tweet on the outcome. He said, “5 yrs later … both us just wanted to get this shit over wit AND I ain’t have to come off no money.”

Not too long ago, Black was serving a 46 month prison sentence, for incidents which occurred in October 2018 involving falsifying documents (lying on background check forms) in the interest of buying weapons at a Miami gun store. He only ended up serving half of his sentence, due to being pardoned by Trump alongside many others including Lil Wayne.

During the sentence Black claimed to have been both physically and mentally abused while behind bars, as well as being “laced with an unknown substance”, which also contributed to his prison pardon.
