The Laneway Festival 2014 Set Times & Maps have been revealed.
Following on from festival organisers pronouncing the Sydney and Melbourne legs sold out, and with the Auckland and Singapore editions of Laneway 2014 about to kick-off, the full timetables for each date of the Australian edition have been unveiled.
The running times are slightly different across each capital city, but the closing headline slots on each stage consistently go to Aussie artists The Jezabels and Cloud Control, as well as Warpaint and Four Tet (the exception being Melbourne, where Frightened Rabbit sub for Cloud Control as the final act).
With such an expansive line-up there’s always going to be a few clashes (and there’s some tough decisions to be made at each leg), but the organisers have made sure to avoid any major headaches for those looking to catch some of the festival’s exclusive acts – Lorde and Haim play back-to-back on all five dates, but overlap with fellow exclusive, garage-psych-soul trio Unknown Mortal Orchestra, on a few legs. Be sure to get down to the festival early if you want to catch each leg’s dedicated Triple J Unearthed artist.
Along with the Falls Festival 2013 set times, there’s also the maps that detail the mighty layout of each leg, so you can inspect the expanded capacity of Sydney’s Rozelle location or Laneway’s new Fremantle site in full detail.
If you’re not up for the more traditional ‘print, highlight, laminate’ route for your set times and maps, there’s also the official Laneway Festival 2014 iPhone and Android apps featuring planners, artist info, event info, and notifications relevant to your interests (just remember to charger your smartphone).
While Melbourne and Sydney have officially sold out, tickets are still available for the Adelaide, Fremantle, and Brisbane dates, while a number of tickets are available to official Laneway Festival sideshows from Chvrches, King Krule, and Savages – though you’d better be quick.
