Fresh from being added to a couple of festivals recently, Britpop icon Liam Gallagher has just announced a run of Aussie headline dates.
Back in October of 2017, former Oasis frontman Liam Gallagher branched out into the world of being a solo artist, releasing his “debut” record, As You Were.
A critical and commercial hit, the album broke vinyl records, scored a Grammy, and topped charts around the world. Needless to say, when the iconic rocker found his way to Australia later that year for the Falls Festival, fans were pretty excited.
Now, with Liam Gallagher set to release Why Me? Why Not. on September 20th, the music legend has now announced a run of Aussie headline dates.
Having recently been announced as the headliner for the Fairgrounds Festival, and added to the 2019 Meredith Festival lineup, Liam Gallagher is set to celebrate the release of album number two with a trip down under.
Kicking things off at the newly-opened Fortitude Music Hall in Brisbane, Gallagher will visit Sydney, Melbourne, Adelaide, and Fremantle on his visit to our shores, before heading over to New Zealand.
He’ll also be accompanied by special guest Gerry Cinnamon at his performances in Brisbane, Sydney, and Melbourne, with the independent Scottish singer-songwriter set to perform tracks from his debut album, Erratic Cinematic.
Tickets to Liam Gallagher’s tour go on sale from 10am local time on Thursday, September 5th, with a pre-sale kicking off at 10am on September 4th, and running until 9am, Thursday, September 5th.
