Carly Rae Jepsen has lent her voice to a No Doubt classic as part of Spotify’s Singles series.
Along with renditions of her own track ‘Want You In My Room’, the Canadian pop artist took on No Doubt’s ‘Don’t Speak’. In terms of covers, Jepsen’s take on the Gwen Stefani-penned lyrics is pretty straight up and down in its delivery, but it’s a fun take all the same.
Carly Rae Jepsen’s Spotify session is a pretty sweet way to bookend what’s been a busy year. The release of her latest album Dedicated in May has been lapped up positively and currently, she’s touring it around the globe.
The Australian leg of that tour, of course, comes in November when she touches down in Sydney to perform at the Enmore Theatre. She’s also part of the Gold Coast’s SandTunes festival in December.
