Sydney’s Middle Kids are already having a banner 2019 – following their biggest ever sold-out headline Australian tour to date – now your favourite Aussie trio has gifted you their six track mini-album, New Songs For Old Problems and new single ‘Big Softy’.
Hannah Joy, Harry Day and Tim Fitz are on a roll with ‘Big Softy’ and the mini-album following the two mega singles ‘Real Thing’ and ‘Beliefs & Prayers’, both of which were crowd faves on their old out Australia / New Zealand tour, and in the US, where they are currently on tour with Local Natives.

Produced by Tim Fitz and recorded at their own studio in Sydney, New Songs For Old Problems is off the back of a massive 2018. Their debut release last year, Lost Friends, earned the band, an ARIA top 10 chart result, an ARIA nomination for Best Rock Album, and saw them conquer some of the globe’s biggest festivals and venues, including K and European dates with Bloc Party and a sold out show at London’s Village Underground.
The band also ranked #64 on triple j’s Hottest 100 of 2018 with ‘Mistake’, picked up triple j’s prestigious Album of the Year award, and who could forget their US TV run with performances on Conan, Jimmy Kimmel and The Late Late Show with James Corden?
