Earlier this week it was revealed the pop wunderkind Justin Bieber had a taste for prog. The Biebs took to Instagram stories to share a photo of himself listening to Tool track ‘The Pot’. Bieber then shared a follow-up post, recommending that his fans who weren’t familiar with the track to check it out.
Tool frontman Maynard James Keenan caught wind that Bieber was a fan of his work and, unfortunately, has not reciprocated the feeling. Keenan simply tweeted “#bummer” in response to the Consequence of Sound report that Bieber was partial to prog.

Don’t worry Justin, Maynard James Keenan is just upset that he didn’t have the cajones to feature the word “swaggie” once in his musical output thus far.
In related news, Bieber recently joined Billie Eilish on a remix of her smash-hit ‘Bad Guy’. A move that many suspects was purely actioned to dethrone Lil Nas X’s left-field hit ‘Old Town Road’ and it’s unshakeable reign.
To counter Eilish and Bieber’s sneaky manoeuvre, Lil Nas X called upon his friends Young Thug and Mason Ramsey to execute yet another remix of the yeehaw hit.
Yesterday, Smash Mouth volunteered to lend ska-punk sensibilities to Lil Nas X, expressing their interest to collaborate with the cowboy king.
