System of a Down vocalist Serj Tankian has vilified Donald Trump for his comments regarding the COVID-19 pandemic. Tankian shared a video of Trump where the President commends himself for “one helluva job,” amid the crisis.

In the video, Trump claims, “We’ve done one hell of a job, nobody’s done the job that we’ve done and it’s lucky that you have this group here right now for this problem, or you wouldn’t even have a country left.

“Certain people [would like the US] not to open so quickly — would like it to do financially poorly, because they think that would do well at defeating me at the polls.”
Tankian lambasted the President on Twitter, writing “Nepotism, egocentricity, and stupidity at its best.”

This isn’t the first time Tankian has publicly condemned Trump’s response to the COVID-19 crisis. He previously shared a meme posted by filmmaker Michael Moore on Instagram depicting Trump with duct tape over his mouth with Dr. Anthony Fauci captioned, “Dr. Fauci unveils a mask that could save millions of lives!”
