Get ready to rock out, music fans, because iconic guitarist Slash has just announced an Aussie tour for 2019.
It’s currently been three years since Slash Featuring Myles Kennedy & The Conspirators made their way down to Australia as part of the 2015 Soundwave Festival. Since then, a lot has changed for the guitarist, reuniting with Guns N’ Roses and performing one of the highest grossing tours of all time.
Now, with a new record out, Slash is set to bring Myles Kennedy & The Conspirators back to Aussie shores for a long-awaited headline tour.
Kicking off in January, the group’s Australian tour will see them hitting up Sydney, Brisbane, Melbourne, and Perth in support of their latest album.
Released last month, Living The Dream, is Slash Featuring Myles Kennedy & The Conspirators’ long-awaited third record, coming after a period of uncertainty about the band’s future.
“I went to the Conspirators guys and said, ‘Look, I’m going to do this Guns N’ Roses thing. I have no idea where that’s going to go,’” Slash explained recently.
“Of course, the Guns N’ Roses thing turned into this juggernaut, but I was always looking for a gap to be able to go back and finish what we started with the Conspirators.”
“I had no intention of putting that to rest just because Guns N’ Roses was happening.”
Tickets to the band’s first Aussie trek in four years go on sale through Ticketek from 12 noon on Friday, October 26. A Telstra Thanks presale, exclusive to Telstra customers, will kick off at 2pm on Tuesday October 23rd, and will run until 2pm on Thursday, September 25th.
