Spin Off Festival 2013 Sells Out Presale Tickets

With a lineup featuring some of the best and brightest international acts headed over for Splendour In The Grass, last year’s first ever Spin Off Festival managed to bring a taste of Splendour to Adelaide for its blockbuster launch, having already confirmed their return for 2013 following its successful inauguration last year, Spin Off Festival announced the lineup headed to Thebarton Theatre on Friday 5th August.

Making the trip over from Splendour The Grass are Icelandic folk collective Of Monsters And Men, synthpop stunners Passion Pit, and scuzzy garage punks FIDLAR, joined by the impressive domestic selection of Chet Faker, Snakadaktal, The Jungle Giants, and Dune Rats.

The pre-sale tickets for Spin Off Festival 2013 went on sale this morning, and already, the entire allocation of tickets has been exhausted.

A statement from Spin Off Festival reads:

Spin Off pre-sale tickets (which were available exclusively to mailing list subscribers) have now officially sold out. The pre-sale opened yesterday at 9am and the first allocation sold out in 20 minutes. A second allocation was then issued and this too sold out by the end of the day.

Tickets go on general sale tomorrow morning at 9am ACST through Venuetix, and if the fan demand for the presale is any indication, prospective festival-goers are going to have to act quick to snap up tickets in the rush, and as organisers warn, “once they’re gone, they’re gone!”

More local bands, DJs, and possibly even a few lineup surprises are expected still to come, but with such a great mix of music under one roof – and given the slim pickings of Splendour sideshows in Adelaide, tickets for Spin Off Festival 2013 are likely to disappear quickly and an event not to be missed.
