We’re only a few weeks away, but now the Good Things lineup has expanded ever-so slightly thanks To The Butterfly Effect joining the bill.

Earlier this year, the music-loving, festival-going public were treated to the news that the Good Things festival would be making its return following a successful debut last year.

Providing some of the best rock, metal, and punk outfits on the scene, this year sees the likes of Parkway Drive, A Day To Remember, Violent Soho and Simple Plan bringing their music to the masses.

Recently though, we learnt that Coheed & Cambria would no longer be making the trek due to some medical issues affecting drummer Josh Eppard. Now, scheduling conflicts have seen supergroup The Damned Things also forced to pull out of this year’s festivities.

However, with just a few weeks to go until kick-off, organisers have revealed an exciting new addition to the festival, with Brisbane alt-metal outfit The Butterfly Effect joining the bill.

“More than bristling at the chance to play alongside our great mates Karnivool, on a great bill full of amazing bands for a huge festival,” explained vocalist Clint Boge. Good Things will rock!

“Things have never been better in the Butters camp; we are ready, willing and super stoked to be a part of such a massive line up and we are ready for more Good Things.

“If someone had of told me that more than six years after leaving the band we’d be back together, stronger than ever and playing Good Things, I’d have told them they were dreaming,” he adds.

“But here we are. I never thought I’d be playing another show with The Butterfly Effect let alone a festival like Good Things, it’s f#cking huge, I’m stoked, what can I say?

“There is no other place I would rather be, than sharing the stage with such an amazing line up. Australia has some of the most dedicated festival fans I can’t wait to get amongst it. We’ll see you there.”

The 2019 edition of Good Things kicks off in Melbourne on Friday, December 6th before travelling to Sydney and Brisbane. Check out all the details below.
