At the tail end of last month, a series of sexual assault allegations had surfaced against T.I. and his wife, Tiny.

The allegations were raised by former friend, Sabrina Peterson, who went public via her social media.

Peterson alleges that T.I. and Tiny pressured victims to partake in drug usage and engaging in having sex with them and others.

In the midst of the allegations, T.I and Tiny were in the middle of shooting the fourth season of their show, T.I. & Tiny: Friends & Family Hustle in Atlanta.

And now an MTV Entertainment representative has issued a statement off the back of the show’s production being suspended.

As reported by Billboardthe statement from the MTV rep is as follows, “We are aware of the allegations, and while they are not connected to our show, we have reached out to T.I. and Tameka Harris, as well as local and state officials. Given the serious nature of the allegations, we have decided to suspend production in order to gather more information.”

Since the allegations surfaced, T.I. and his wife have both denied the claims against them, as well as their spokesperson doing the same.

In a statement to Billboard, the pair’s spokesperson said, “Mr. and Mrs. Harris want to be on record and more importantly want the public to know they emphatically deny in the strongest way possible the egregiously appalling allegations being made against them by Sabrina Peterson.”

It follows, “The Harrises have had difficulty with this woman for well over a decade. They are taking this matter very seriously, and if these allegations don’t end, they will take appropriate legal action.”
