The Push Over 2014 set times have been unveiled, along with the opportunity for patrons to skip the queue into Melbourne’s favourite all ages music festival.
With just over a month until its kick-off on the Labour Day Public Holiday (Monday 10th March), the organisers have released the event’s full playing times for the huge list of bands hitting Melbourne’s Sidney Myer Music Bowl.
The Push Over 2014 lineup will perform across three main stages across the day, along with the additional ‘Black Stage’ that will host the Push Underground, Beatbox Showcase, and Breakin’ Battle events.
Closing out the festival on the Blue Stage will be Deez Nuts, preceded by Aussie hip hop favourite Pez, indigenous charity helpers In Hearts Wake, rising star and mixtape sensation Allday, and a rocking afternoon set from The Smith Street Band.
Their good friends/labelmates/tour buddies, The Bennies, will play over a the Red Stage, sharing the stage with the likes of the multi-talented Chance Waters, Brisbane’s Cub Sport (nee Cub Scouts), Luca Brasi, Saviour, and a headline set from ARIA-nominated six-piece Dream On Dreamer.
The Green Stage will play host to an exciting selection of emerging bands, such as Worship The Fallen, Darcy Fox, Listerdale, Bel Air, Residual, as well as the winners of the FReeZA Push Start and Triple J Unearthed competitions, which will open the day.
The mighty Buried In Verona then play an early evening set before the Triple J Unearthed Artist of the Year and Tone Deaf favourite REMi, who will bring the stage to a close with his unique live hip hop show.
As well as the set times, there’s also the schedule for signing times, where your favourite artists will be on hand to sign merch. Organisers are offering the chance to avoid the busy waiting line with the new Skip The Queue competition, which offers a prize pack of merch to the lucky winner as well as the bragging rights.
Fans can enter by submitting their best llama meme in celebration of the Push Over poster. All memes must be related to either Push Over Festival and/or a band playing the festival. Submit via email to [email protected] no later than February 21st for your chance to Skip The Queue.
