US rapper Russ has taken to Twitter to describe his frustration at being kicked out of a Las Vegas venue for complaining about sound issues.

Whenever you see a live performance, there’s always a strong chance that something might go wrong.

Sure, we saw Action Bronson recently cut a show short after being temporarily blinded by stage lights, but usually things aren’t that severe.

In fact, usually these problems might extend as far as some problems with the venue’s sound system, or the foldback for bands. In most cases, these issues can be addressed and fixed without much hassle.

However, as US rapper Russ recently explained, his decision to speak out against the sound at a Las Vegas club resulted in him being not only booted from the venue, but evicted from his hotel as well.

Taking to Twitter recently, Russ revealed how his Saturday night performance at Las Vegas’ Kaos nightclub was marred by production issues. After calling out the venue, organisers not only cut his set short after five minutes, but also booted him from his room at The Palms hotel.

“They fucked up. I called them on it,” Russ explained to a fan who hit out at the venue’s actions. “They kicked me off stage.”

“Sorry to the fans. I’ll come back to Vegas and do my own show. I tried this club thing out… [I] don’t fuck with it. Sorry to the fans.

“I just wasn’t bout to just keep allowing other people’s fuck ups to affect the show y’all came to see so I said something,” he continued. “People just wanna fuck up and have the artists take the blame..fuck that lol so they kicked us off stage and evicting [sic] us from hotel.”

“Sorry to the fans that came out,” he continued. “Like I said on stage, I wasn’t gonna let the venue fuck up the show repeatedly without sayin [sic] something to y’all who paid money, waited etc.”

“They didn’t like me calling them out. Like I also said, they’ll tell a different story but y’all saw.”

In a video taken at the event, Russ can be heard addressing the audience, noting that “this club is fucking trash”, before security can be seen confronting him and escorting him offstage.

After trying to address his fans once again, security can be seen reaching for the mic, attempting to stop Russ from speaking.

Of course, there’s also a bit of irony in the fact that we can’t hear much of what is going on in the video, especially considering Russ’ complaints of poor sound quality at the venue.

In related news, Russ is set to head to Australia later this year as part of the Splendour In The Grass lineup.

With a handful of headline shows locked in as well, we’re feeling pretty certain he won’t have any complaints about sound quality on his Aussie tour.
