The Sunset Piazza concert series has announced its second lineup of programming for 2021 and boy, is it a doozy.
That’s right, the likes of Ben Folds, Ruby Fields, G Flip and Pete Murray will all take to the stage at Sydney’s latest pop-up outdoor venue.
Launched back in January, Sunset Piazza is a concert series held at Sydney’s Cathedral Square that’s aiming to revitalise the city’s music scene.
The initial lineup hosted gigs from Aussie music mainstays like Peking Duk and Allday, with artists including Ben Lee and Sneaky Sound System still to come.
Now, the second lineup has been unveiled and it also includes local legends like Josh Pyke, Kate Miller-Heidke, Pnau, Ziggy Ramos and Winston Surfshirt.
If comedy’s more you’re thing then you’re in luck, as Sunset Piazza will also host a Comedy Gala featuring Wil Anderson, Sam Taunton, Danielle Walker, Oliver Twist, Alex Jae and MC Justin Hamilton.
To top it all off, punters can also expect performances from the Sydney Gay and Lesbian Choir featuring Casey Donovan and Trevor Ashley, as well as the award-winning musical theatre and cabaret ensemble Rewired: Musicals Reimagined on the Sunset Piazza by Hayes.
Love Music?
Get your daily dose of metal, rock, indie, pop, and everything else in between.

The best part? Each gig will only set you back a mere $25, which is so cheap that you’re practically making money by attending.
The only catch is that each performance is capped at 350 people, so you will have to get in quick to ensure you nab tickets.
Particularly for fans of the American Ben Folds, who has been stuck in Australia due to the pandemic, it’s a chance to see him in a more intimate setting than ever before.
So go on Sydneysiders, what have you got to lose?
