Fans of Revesby’s finest will have a seven more reasons to catch Pist Idiots on their national tour next month.

One of Australia’s sickest pub-punk bands, Pist Idiots have just released their hotly anticipated seven-track EP, giving fans just enough time to learn all the words before the band head out on tour on October 10.

Watch Pist Idiots announce Ticker below:

Ticker, a face obliterator in every sense, was recorded at The Grove Studios in Gosford, a past home to acts like Birds of Tokyo, Skegss, DMA’S, The Presets and more. Featuring new single and title track ‘Ticker’, the band’s third EP also marks Pisties’ first ever physical release.

“Ticker is our third EP, it’s a collection of some of our oldest songs coming to life and obviously newest,” the band said. “This is also going to be our first physical release, which we’ve been waiting so long for and finally, it’s here.”

Labelled one of the wildest, loudest, and craziest Aussie bands on the scene, Pist Idiots have been going from strength to strength since the release of their self-titled EP in 2017, which lit the scene on fire with tracks like ‘99 Bottles’ and debut single ‘Fuck Off’.

The Ticker EP features the just-released title track, undeniably the band’s most raw, bare-chested single, plus new single eargasms ‘Motor running’ and ‘Roundhouse’, which were both released earlier this year.

Additional to the run of national dates kicking off in Adelaide on October 10 and finishing up in Canberra on November 8, the Pisties lads were just announced on the killer Laneway Festival lineup. They’re set to perform alongside The 1975, Charli XCX, their pals The Chats and Earl Sweatshirt next February.
