If you’ve been paying attention to the world of music over the last 12 months, you’d undoubtedly be aware that Skegss are having an absolutely banner year.
Entering 2019 after the release of their ARIA-nominated debut record, the trio scored songs in the Hottest 100, kicked off a tour full of sold-out shows across the country, released their new single ‘Save It For The Weekend’, and just recently wrapped up an appearance on the Good Things festival.
However, following their announcement as the secret headliner for the Best Night Ever show in the Gold Coast this year, the group are set to squeeze one extra show in before the year is out, entering 2020 with a bunch of close mates.
Yes, announced this morning, Skegss are leading a massive lineup that will take over Byron Bay’s The Northern on December 31st, with none other than Ruby Fields, Pist Idiots, and Cupid And The Stupids joining the fun as well.
Have also wrapped up a massive year, Ruby Fields has barely stopped touring over the last few months, playing shows just about every day, showcasing her talents during a massive Splendour set, and even becoming our favourite radio announcer in the process.
Likewise, Revesby’s Pist Idiots have barely had time to sit down, performing shows all across the country, and recently releasing their third EP, Ticker, which has seen them score widespread acclaim for their powerful compositions.

Last, but not least, Cupid And The Stupids are set to open the massive night, bringing their wild live show to the stage for a set that fans won’t soon forget.
